This rich menu needs a wine that can stand up to the flavorful food. We suggest a Shiraz, which is the Australian name for Syrah. We like the 2006 d'Arenberg "The Laughing Magpie" Shiraz ($18). It has black cherry, tea, and chocolate flavors and lush tannins.
