Classic Negroni Cocktail Takes Over Instagram With #negronioclock

It doesn't get much simpler than the negroni, the Italian cocktail that's classicly composed of equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth (except when it's not). I'm in the middle of a long, passionate love affair with the ruby red beverage, and I'm not afraid to admit it. So much so that, this summer I started posting Instagrams of the drink when I'd order it at bars and restaurants around the country with the simple hashtag #negronioclock.
Unlike the clear-cut, anyone-can-make-it definition of the negroni itself, #negronioclock is a little more fuzzy. The feeling can strike at any time, anywhere, and with anyone. #negronioclock is at once everything and nothing. It sounds crazy, but when you find yourself posting beautiful aerial cocktail photography at some random bar two or three negronis deep on a winter evening, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about—#negronioclock is happening people; join the revolution.
