Remember Pierce Davis? He won our Grilling Book giveaway by Instagramming a ridiculously good-looking photo of our Best-Ever Barbecued Ribs. So good that we had to put it on bonappetit.com for all the world to see that sticky, sweet, meaty beauty.

Well, he's at it again. Pierce cooked his Independence Day feast straight from recipes in his Grilling Book, and he's got the photos above to prove it.

"I ended up cooking for around 20 people, after we took part in what's called the Doo-Dah parade here in Columbus, OH," he wrote us. "So I went with the Ultimate Crispy Chicken Wings (page 44) to please the masses. I used the All-American Barbecue Sauce (page 389), the Classic Buffalo Sauce (page 45) paired with the Charred Corn Salad with Basil and Tomatoes (page 341). As for the appetizer, I made Salt-Grilled Oysters (page 260)."

Click through the photos above to see those recipes in action. (And if you want an invite to Pierce's place next year, we have his email address.) We hope you had as delicious a 4th at Pierce did--and that you have loads of leftovers to nibble on today.
