Designers, DJs, and Dishes: Why Our Party at The Spotted Pig Rocked
Everyone at The Spotted Pig last night was wondering the same thing: What was going on upstairs? Blame the stream of flawlessly dressed people entering an unmarked door on the second floor. Turns out, the hubbub was for our second Feast or Fashion party of 2014, featuring designer Pamela Love's upscale jewelry line, Pamela Love Fine, and a light, summer-inspired vegetarian tasting menu from BA girl-crush April Bloomfield. It was a night of great food, drool-worthy jewelry, and beautiful people. Here's how it went down.

We're kind of obsessed with these five-spike 18k yellow-gold earrings with opal studs and white diamond spikes ($5,000, available at Barneys New York).
Alex Lau4/18When it comes to serving a fashion-forward crowd, "Keep it light, vibrant, fresh, and clean," says chef Bloomfield. These deviled eggs certainly fit the bill (and, really, how cute are those herbed quail eggs?).

When he's not dropping beats, he loves to cook for people—specifically turkey, bacon, goat cheese, avocado wraps. And when he makes you a drink, it's serious. "You know what's really dope?" he says, "Fireball with apple juice, ice, and a little cinnamon." We'll have to try that at our next party. (Another item of note: Douglas Friedman's fantastic shirt.)

Burrata with eggplant, poached chanterelles, sweet corn, sweet corn purée, rye berries, roasted baby carrots, arugula and stone crop, a succulent-like edible plant. Bloomfield noted that she loved the contrast of the white burrata and the slate serveware.
