  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with 2 cups ice. Add 2 oz. Aperol, 1 oz. gin, ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice, ¼ oz. simple syrup, and 1 dash Angostura bitters. Cover and shake until outside is frosty, about 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass; garnish with a flamed orange peel.
