Just about every day is National Some-Kind-of-Yummy-Food Day, and most of them we kind of shrug at. (Plum Pudding Day on February 12? Eh.) But today is International Hot and Spicy Food Day, and that's a concept we can get behind. Not that you need a special reason to eat a big helping of passage-clearing, eye-watering, fire-breathing, chile-laced grub, but this is great belly-warming food to battle against the cold (and, well, your cold). We've rounded up 15 of our hottest recipes, from spicy pineapple to Sichuan favorite Mapo Tofu. Just make sure you grab a beer to quell the spice--you don't want your mouth to be on fire for too long.
