Finally! Senator Ted Cruz has ended his 21-hour filibuster (the fourth longest in U.S. history) in an effort to halt a spending bill. During his marathon speech, he read Green Eggs and Ham, quoted Toby Keith, and did a shaky Darth Vader impression in order to take up time. Sarah Palin even promised the Republican senator that she'd send him caribou jerky (she didn't). Though Senator Cruz was creative when sourcing his material, we would have given him extra props if he'd read a recipe during the ordeal.
