Chef Alejandra Ramos & Jojo: Pt. 1
Released on 10/22/2020
[lighthearted music]
My name is Alejandra Ramos.
I'm a chef and TV host.
And this is my dog, Jojo.
[lighthearted music]
Jojo's my best friend.
He's like my buddy. He's my companion.
It's been so amazing having Jojo here during quarantine.
He's really just the one that kind of keeps me company,
but also just keeps me kind of centered and grounded.
So when there's all the craziness going on
and a lot of uncertainty, a lot of anxiety,
Jojo still needs to get fed.
He needs to get walked.
He's happy and affectionate.
He's not stressed out.
He actually loves that I'm home with him all the time.
[lighthearted music]
I started a container garden
at the beginning of quarantine.
It's the first time I've ever done anything like this.
And I kind of was just like, let's see what we can do.
So I planted some seeds.
I got all these containers
and now I have this beautiful lush garden
full of cucumbers and baby eggplant.
I'm growing Padron peppers, all sorts of herbs.
Jojo loves the space.
He follows me around wherever I go,
take a little walk around the garden,
where we spend a lot of our days these days.
I love when he like runs around.
Sometimes when I'm eating or reading,
he jumps up on the table
and just kind of hangs out right next to my face.
My favorite thing to do with the items in my garden
is make a cocktail.
I love a good quarantine cocktail.
So when I'm feeding myself and my husband,
I obviously want to choose the best ingredients
and I want quality food.
Jojo is part of my family too,
so he also deserves the best ingredients I can give him.
I love Jojo.
I've only known him a year,
but I feel like he's just always been in my life.
And I can't imagine life without him.
