Okay let's start with probably the most

vexing situation in any wine pro's repertoire

and that is opening a bottle of sparkling wine.

Now every bottle of sparkling wine

has a little tab here where you can pull off

the foil that covers the cage that holds the cork in place.

The problem is these are very hard to get to,

they don't always work.

You have to be kind of gentle with it,

you gotta use some finesse to get that off, okay?

Sometimes you can sit here and fiddle with

this thing for five minutes.

That's not smooth, that's not pro.

If you were to have a little difficulty,

if you were seeing that maybe this foil

was too much of a pain in the neck,

just do a nice little cut around the side

as you would a regular capsule, alright?

So now the second move you've got to remove this cage.

So we're twisting this off.

Now this is officially in play now

alright so that means that you have to kind

of keep your hand on it at all times

because it could sneak out on you.

So a pro is going to kind of slip that off carefully.

So what you're doing is you're applying pressure

to this end and you're twisting this end

and what you want ideally is just the slightest kiss,

the slightest little sigh when that cork comes out.

(soft hiss)

Oh you getting that, you getting that?

You hear that?
