All right, let's talk a little bit about wine glasses.
I am not a fan of the stemless wine glass.
A wine glass has a stem for a reason,
and that is, first of all,
because it looks really cool when you hold it like this.
This is sort of like the varsity hold.
This is sort of the graduate school hold.
If you can swirl like that,
we'll talk about swirling in a second.
But this is,
stems serve a purpose.
You're not marking up the bowl with your hands,
which, I mean, come on, that's just hack.
You can't drink like,
you have to hold by the stem, all right.
I tend to like kind of a larger-sized,
Bordeaux-shaped glass.
That's like my all-purpose glass.
Typically, my fancier glass is gonna have
more of a Burgundy shape to it.
White wine glasses, I don't really bother with them.
I like big.
I like big because I like to be able to swirl.
I like to do an aggressive, dramatic swirl.
Swirling is something that a lot of people struggle with.
They're holding the thing, they don't,
so, I'm gonna give you a little quick swirling lesson here.
All you're doing is basically drawing a circle
with the foot of the glass,
draw, draw, draw, draw, draw.
Right there, boom, you just sent out a message
to everyone you're dealing with,
I am someone to be reckoned with,
I know how to swirl.
