5 Van Gogh Paintings That Look Like Bon Appétit Recipes
It's so cool when a well-known artist's work emerges from an attic or is found behind a sofa. This week, the world was thrilled to get another addition to revered artist Vincent van Gogh's body of work: "Sunset at Montmajour," painted in 1888, around the same time as his iconic pieces "Sunflowers" and "The Bedroom." We, being big art fans, were super excited to check out the piece, looking at big photographs of the painting on our computer screens. And that's when we noticed something.
"This painting kind of looks like our stewed zucchini recipe."
"No, it REALLY looks like it."
So we got to poking around van Gogh's oeuvre, and discovered a few more paintings that remind us of our gorgeously shot, colorful recipes à la our Miss Moss series. If only van Gogh had eaten one of these recipes rather than his paints.
