Of the many, many recipes we publish, there are bound to be a few favorites that steal the spotlight. From seasonal showstoppers to comforting classics, these are the recipes our readers can’t get enough of. Head right this way for all of our greatest hits.

March is unpredictable. Depending on where you live, one day you’re wearing short sleeves, licking an ice cream cone, and the next you’re piling on the largest coat you own. What we cooked reflected that: The Dutch oven was a constant companion. Take, for example, Red-Wine-Braised Short Ribs, with browned meat, aromatic vegetables, and plenty of dry wine. The long cook time transforms the ribs into fall-off-the-bone chunks. Meanwhile, warm-weather recipes like these cold peanut butter noodles with crisp cucumbers also made the cut.

This month our readers also loved this White Chicken Chili that achieves a creamy consistency with a smart technique. The trick is to smash some beans against your pot to thicken the soup and extract colossal flavor. And use the same smashing technique in this Potato and Pea Chowder that loads up on all of spring’s finest produce: leeks, potatoes, and sweet peas. Just take a masher and break up some of those potato chunks.
