Ingredients: Nonstick vegetable oil spray; 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour; ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder; ¼ cup malted milk powder; 1 teaspoon kosher salt; 1 teaspoon baking soda; ¾ teaspoon baking powder; 2 large eggs; 1 large egg yolk; 1½ cups plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar; 1 cup buttermilk; ⅓ cup vegetable oil; ½ teaspoon vanilla extract; ¾ cup coffee, cooled, divided; 2 tablespoons light brown sugar; 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped; ½ teaspoon vanilla extract; ½ cup heavy cream; ¼ cup malted milk powder; ¼ teaspoon kosher salt; Chocolate pearls; coarsely chopped malt balls (for serving; optional)
