This is Caramel Cone.
It's the best bite of Häagen-Dazs ice cream
because it leaves you kind of wanting one more.
Yeah.
It's not too rich, but then again it's full-flavored
and there's something magical about that.
We're eating Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
They've been around forever
because they stayed true to their values.
I'm going to flip the question to you.
How do you stay true to what's important to you as a chef?
The guiding light for me has always really been about
choosing great ingredients that are tried and true.
Making sure not to over-manipulate them
but always find a great hook, an interesting combination of
a couple of flavors that taste great,
captures your attention.
And I've used that in every dish that I've ever created.
Ultimately, when you're gonna treat yourself
to Häagen-Dazs ice cream, you know,
you really want to know that those bites count.
Those ingredients come together and make something
that is altogether magical, right?
How do you stay passionate about what you do?
It's not really work, it's how I like to spend my time.
It's how I like to see my family come together.
It's ultimately, you know,
we kind of define who we are through the way we eat.
What makes it worth it for you?
I think anything that you're passionate about, it's really
important to recognize that you owe it to yourself
to pat yourself on the back after a hard day's work.
To reward yourself, to have that 'aah' moment.
And knowing that tomorrow, you could roll up your sleeves
and probably figure out how to do it even better.
