The 10 Most Popular Recipes in August
Around the time that summer comes to a close, we usually encourage readers to get out to the farmers’ market and buy as many tomatoes and ears of corn as possible. This year, Healthyish took that a step further with the Farmers’ Market Challenge, a monthlong friendly competition, and you guys came through. Three out of the 10 most popular recipes of August were from that challenge—including the No. 1—and the rest of the heavy hitters were also simple and summery. Check out all of them below, and try to make some over Labor Day weekend (psst, corn salsa!) to impress your friends before summer comes to an end.

Woooow, you guys really loved the shrimp and basil stir-fry from the Farmers’ Market Challenge. This is ideal if you have leftover basil from making a big batch of pesto, but it is worth buying even more just to make this recipe. Mixed with caramelized, spicy shrimp, you’ll want to eat on repeat through every season.
