The way we eat is changing, so it’s not a huge surprise when vegetarian meatballs and gluten-free carrot cake are two of the most popular recipes of the month. But as healthyish as we are all becoming, we still have room in our hearts (and stomachs) for fried chicken sandwiches, shrimp and grits, and calzones. Check out the full lineup of the recipes you were all making—or at least saving for later—below. Bonus points to those of you who actually baked a full royal wedding cake in May.

    We officially call this not-so-official royal wedding cake “Lemon and Raspberry Wedding Cake with Vanilla Buttercream.” But we all know what this really is.     We believe you can fry. We believe you can touch the sky. Our method gives you crispy chicken thighs without all the splattery mess. There’s also a Sriracha mayonnaise and cabbage slaw on there for good measure.

    This gluten-free carrot cake made BA staffers pretty much lose our minds. It’s that good. Seriously! You won’t even miss the gluten, because there are tons of mix-ins and the best part: cream cheese frosting. Plus, because it’s so moist (sorry!), the cake will stay delicious for days—if it lasts that long.
