#TBT to These Very Special Old-School Recipes
Remember how awesome we thought stirrup pants, neon sweatshirts, and feathered hair were? As we've grown older, we've moved on to clothes that are more chic, sophisticated, and subdued, but that doesn't mean we don't still have a soft spot for our old style. We'll always love stirrup pants! They were the hottest ticket around! It's just that today, they look a little, well, dated. They're still beautiful, still special, still super comfortable—but nothing we'd wear out in public. That's how we feel about these recipes—they were the jam back in the day, and they're delicious even now. But with a levitating pineapple upside-down cake and an entire duck draped with lavender sprigs in our old yearbooks, all we can do is blush and look back on the good old times. We'd still totally get down with every one of these recipes today—we just might make them change their outfits first.
