cups sliced and stemmed shiitake mushrooms

/3 cup Madeira

tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

cups purchased high-quality gravy

cup low-salt chicken broth

/2 cup whipping cream

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan; add onion. Sauté until golden. Add mushrooms; sauté until soft. Add Madeira, rosemary, gravy, chicken broth, and whipping cream. Simmer 5 minutes, whisking constantly. Season with salt and pepper.
