tablespoons white or red wine vinegar

/4 teaspoon dry mustard (optional)

tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil

tablespoons minced fresh herbs (such as basil, chives, tarragon, and/or parsley)

5- to 6-ounce package baby greens

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Combine vinegar and mustard, if using, in medium bowl. Gradually whisk in oil. Season vinaigrette to taste with salt and pepper. Whisk in herbs.

    Step 2

    Place greens in large bowl. Toss with enough vinaigrette to coat and serve.
