Preparation

  1. Boil pomegranate juice in heavy small saucepan over medium-high heat until reduced to 1 cup, about 8 minutes. Add sugar; stir to dissolve. Simmer 2 minutes longer. Pour into small bowl; cool. DO AHEAD Can be made 1 week ahead. Cover; chill.
