Ingredients

shallot, finely chopped

garlic clove, lightly crushed

cup extra-virgin olive oil

cup red wine or white wine vinegar

Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Whisk shallot, garlic, oil, and vinegar in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

    Step 2

    Do Ahead: Vinaigrette can be made 5 days ahead. Cover and chill.
