Broiled Halibut with Pineapple-Jicama Salsa

/2 cup diced, peeled pineapple

/4 cup diced, peeled jicama

scallions, chopped

tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

tablespoon (or more) fresh lime juice

red jalapeño, seeded, chopped

5-ounce halibut fillets

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Mix the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl. Season salsa to taste with salt and pepper.

    Step 2

    Preheat broiler. Season fish with salt, pepper, and chile powder. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; place fish on foil. Broil fish until just cooked through, about 3 minutes per side. Place on plates; spoon salsa over.
